Jack Crawford

May 17, 1936 — March 12, 2020

John H Crawford also to all of us know as Jack Crawford passed away on March 12 2020 of Pneumonia. His daughter Christine Lillibridge and his son Tod Crawford were at his side. Jack Crawford was born here in LA. He grew up here graduating from LA High School. He then went to USC and graduated as a CPA. He met Patricia Ulrich when he was in the Army Reserves. They were married for 36 years until her death from Lung Cancer in 1999.He finished up his career working for California Cartage as their Controller for 18 years. He loved his beautiful house in Palos Verdes with a lovely Koi pond in the backyard that is the jewel of the property. He loved to play golf and sun in the backyard reading his crime novels. He was always tanner then me. He was a guitar player when he was young and he sung in the choir in Junior high and High school. He was also a boy scout and achieved his Eagle scout. For a while he had a boat. He loved puttering around on it on the weekends. He and my mother loved Catalina island and would spend most of their vacations there. It was like a second home for them. He loved his cars. His baby was his 1959 Triumph TR3A. He loved to drive it around the hill enjoying the scenery and fresh air. He loved his dogs. From Petey, Lexey, Princess, Morgan and then Max. They brought him so much love and happiness. He would walk them in the neighborhood saying "Hi" to everyone he saw. Everyone in the neighborhood would look forward to seeing his Christmas Village he would set up in the house. It would take him 3 days to set it up. Neighbors, friends and family would all come over to see it every Christmas. He also had an HO gage railroad set up in the garage, that he built from scratch. It took him years to complete. He will be terribly missed by his loved ones, friends and neighbors. But now he's with my Mother again.
