Ja' Var Marquise Johnson

Ja’Var Marquise Johnson was born on April 25,1980 in the city of Los Altos, California to his proud parents David Johnson Sr and Donna Angel. Ja’Var was known as “J-Byrd and Jada to family and friends. As a young child, Ja’Var accepted Christ and was baptized as a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach. Ja’Var was bright and full of life. He received his education at Lafayette Elementary, Florence Bixby Elementary, Cecil B DeMille Middle School and Long Beach Poly High School where he graduated in 1998. While attending LB POLY he meet the apple his eye Bridgette Parades. In 2001 they welcomed a blessing and they named him Joseph. Three years later they had their second blessing and named her Trinity. During these times Ja’Var and his family would travel the west coast. In 2008 he married Bridgette Parades. While being a husband, father and working young man Ja’var attended Compton Community College to become an electrician. In 2009 Ja’var found a love for making musical beats in his spare time, so he purchased a computer downloaded the programs to make the beats. Javar and Bridgette divorced in 2016. If Ja’var wasn’t at work or visiting his kids in Las Vegas he was in the garage till wee hours in the morning try to perfect the craft of making beats that you could rap, sing or dance too. Not only was he into music he love to cook in the kitchen or bbq he came up with the most tasteful dishes that would make you want to eat them over and over again. Ja’var would always make time to hang out with family or friends. In 2017 he received another blessing named Carrington, and another addition in 2018 named Xara. Javar was extremely passionate about life and living each day to the fullest with the biggest smile on his face no matter what pain he would endure these last few years. Ja’var wisdom with word would light a fire inside to make you want better and to be better, his positive mind set and energy would brighten up the room to the point where you couldn’t help but either smile or laugh. He walked to his own tune daily and was always up beat. Everyone who came in contact with J-Byrd loved him due to his positive and joyous spirit. J-byrd was Mr. positivity and motivation speaker to us all, every negative all he saw was the positive outlook. Javar leaves an abundance of memories to be cherish by his family, sons Joseph Johnson and Carrington Johnson, his daughters Trinity Johnson and Xara Johnson; his parents David Johnson Sr and Donna Angel; his siblings Ieshia Johnson, Marisha (Ryan) Johnston, Nateisha (Clement) Mercier, Jamika Moye ; his brothers Brion Johnson and David Johnson Jr and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
