Ivanica Juravich

Ivanica Juravich was born on June 21, 1914 in Zdrelac, Croatia and passed away at the age of 100 on July 26, 2014. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 1957 and lived in Chicago prior to making San Pedro their home in 1964. Ivanica enjoyed knitting, praying, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family. She was known for her caring soul, putting other's needs ahead of her own. Ivanica is preceded by her loving husband, Slavko and son-in-law, Vinko. She is survived by her children, Ksenija (Vinko dec.), Jerolim (Rose), Mario (Vesna) and Davor (Katie), her grandchildren, Sylvana (Dave), Joe (Charlene), Carla (Louis), Jason, Mark (Jessica), Maria, Ryan (Jaime), Kristina (Jaime), Adriana (Loren), and David (Alyse) and great grandchildren, Luka, Margo, Evan, Ezra, Mila, Zoey, Mena, Logan, and Ante. Visitation at Green Hills Chapel on Thursday, July 31st from 5-7pm. Rosary to follow at 7pm. Services will be held on Friday, August 1st at 10:30 AM at Mary Star of the Sea Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for the restoration of the church, Sveti Luka, in Zdrelac.
