Ivan Baran

Born in Brbinj. Dugi Otok born to Sime and Marija Baran. He migrated to the U.S in 1972 to pursue a better life for him and his family. He was devoted to Brbinj and spent his early life working on improving his village. He is survived by his loving wife Marija of 67 years; his children Tonko (Carol), Anka (Ivan), Sime (Elena), Milivoj (Marijana); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; along with numerous relatives in Croatia and Australia. Visitation for Ivan will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 5:00pm, with a memorial service to follow on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9:00a.m at Green Hills Memorial Park.
