Isabel Lugo "Grandma Isa" Pueblos

June 25, 1919 — December 9, 2011

Isabel was a 61 year resident of Wilmington. She passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2011 from complications of a stroke, surrounded by her family. Isabel was born June 25, 1919 in Tucson, Arizona and moved back to Mexico with her family when still a little girl. In 1944, she came to San Pedro to live with her older sister, Elena. She worked at Starkist Fish Cannery where she met her husband, Florentino Pueblos. They were married on April 15, 1950 and lived in Wilmington ever since. Preceded in death by her husband, Florentino, she is survived by her sons, Carlos, Florin, Armando and Danny; grandchildren, Geoffrey, Danny, Marc, Tori, Marina, Erica and Matthew. Isabel was a beautiful lady who loved her family, her roses and dancing... as she is now dancing and having a ball in heaven. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13th from 2pm-6pm at Green Hills Memorial Park, rosary to follow at 7pm also at Green Hills. An 11am mass will be held on Wednesday, December 14th at Sts.
