Isabel Carrasquillo

Mrs. Isabel Carrasquillo age 82, passed away in the city of Harbor City, California on Friday December 4, 2015.

Isabel was born on November 19, 1933, in the city of Luquillo, Puerto Rico. She moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1952 where she raised her 7 children before settling in the city of San Pedro, California in 1968. Isabel accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1974 and attended Iglesia Zion for over 25 years. She worked briefly as a seamstress in the early 1970's and enjoyed making clothing and fishnet stockings. Isabel became a housewife in the late 1970's and cared for her many grandchildren over the years. Her main passion was cooking and making café for anyone who came to visit, it was her way of showing her love and appreciation. Her heart was as big as they came and will be dearly missed.
She was United in Holy Matrimony to the late Benito Carrasquillo Sr. To this union, seven children where born.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, two daughters Carmen (Jeff) Carrasquillo-Tsuno, Alice Carrasquillo (deceased) and Five sons. Benito Carrasquillo Jr., Johnny Carrasquillo, Charlie (Ramona) Carrasquillo, Fernando (Lupe) Carrasquillo, and Nelson (Mary) Carrasquillo. She also had 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
