Ingrid E. Bolde

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Ingrid Bolde. Born August 9, 1943 in Prague, Czechoslovakia to Elizabeth and John Michale and passed away on August 18, 2015. She graduated from Hollywood High and went on to work many years for Rapiscan (OSI). She was a member of the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge and in charge of Basic Practices for many years. She was also the long-time secretary for the South Bay Fun Club and a member of the Torrance Moose Lodge. Her love for teaching and playing tennis was known to all. She was an avid traveler and had been to Europe and some of her fondest memories were Chicago, Branson, and a cruise to Vancouver, Canada. She was a true friend and loved by many for her loyalty, friendliness and generosity. She is survived by her children, Michael Anthony and Paul Brian Bolde, and grandchildren, Paul Daniel and Steven Michael Bolde. She was predeceased by her grandson, Robert James Bolde and dear friend Bill Seymor. She also leaves behind her dear and devoted friends. The memorial service will be at Green Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes on Thursday, August 27th from 5pm – 6pm. A celebration of life reception will be at the Redondo Beach Lodge Friday, August 28 from 5pm -8pm. Burial will be private.
