Helen Michiko Nishimura, the daughter of Shiyosaku and Satsuki Tada, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2012 at the age of 85.
She was born in Summerland, California and had been a longtime resident of Gardena, California. Helen is survived by her beloved husband; John Nishimura, children; Robert (Mary) Nishimura, Rodney (Marion) Nishimura, Lori Nishimura, 6 grandchildren; Erin, Brandon, Nolan, Colby, Jake (Christine), Jesse and 5 siblings; Yoshi (Norman) Shizumura, Mary (Ben) Yoshida, Ben (Yo) Tada, Joe (Lilo) Tada and Eleanor Lomax. A memorial service will be held at The Faith United Methodist Church 2115 West 182nd Street, Torrance, California on February 11, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Casual attire requested.
