Heinz Wilhelm Wahlers

Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Heinz Wahlers passed away Thursday night August 2nd, 2012 after a long battle with ALS. Heinz is survived his wife of 57 years Inge; brother Werner Wahlers (Marilyn); 3 children Pamela Vinovich, Eric Wahlers, Karl Wahlers (Joan Wahlers); 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Heinz was a L.A. City Fire Fighter for 32 years, a Fire Safety Officer at Paramount Studios for 20 years and a Substitute Teacher in the Torrance Unified School District as well. He had a love of people and quite a gift of gab, a passion for baseball (Go Dodgers!) and politics. Heinz will be most remembered for his great love for his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Chapel 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90240.
