Haruko Sugi Hurt

January 3, 1915 — January 19, 2012

Haruko Sugi Hurt, the daughter of Katsuyoshi and Mutsu Sugi, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2012 at the age of 97. She was born on January 3, 1915 in Parlier, California and had been a longtime resident of Gardena, California. Haruko is survived by his beloved family, children; Nancy (Benny) Canady and John (Kristiane) Hurt, grandchildren; Tyler Hurt, Lindsay Hurt, Dillon Hurt, Jesse Hurt, Jack Canady and Owen Canady and siblings; Fusako Sugi, Miyako Fujikawa and Yo Sugi (pre-deceased). A memorial service for Haruko will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
