Harry C. Titus

Passed away on November 28, 2015. Harry was born in 1932 in South Dakota to Charles and Helen Titus. In 1944 he moved to the South Bay with his family, where he attended Redondo High School. He served in the Navy from 1951-55. Married Johanna Boonstra February 7, 1953 and settled in Torrance in 1955 where he would find a career with Union Carbide that continued until his retirement in 1992 after 36 years and 7 months without a day absent. Harry and Johanna moved to Vista CA in 1997, where they enjoyed retirement. Harry enjoyed his family, travel and fishing.
Devoted to his wife and children, Harry was always ready to lend a skilled hand, his wry humor, and generous heart. He leaves a legacy of life lived honestly and with humility.
Harry is survived by his Wife Johanna, Daughter Trina, Son Charles Trent, and Son Tedde Henry. Grandchildren Michael, Elizabeth (Anthony Avery) and Catherine (Justin Stephens). Great Grandchildren Serenity, Dawson, Harrison and Scarlett. Preceded in death by his parents and his 5 siblings and grandson Jeffrey.
Services will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at 12pm at Green Hills Mortuary, Rancho Palos Verdes- Cove Suite. Followed by interment.
