Harry Lee passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012. To all that knew him he was full of life, humor, optimism and of generosity. Harry was born December 12, 1920 in China. He served in the Air Force during WWII (USA 555 AS 514, Asg 332 Troopcarrier: CBI) as a master sergeant from 1942 to 1947 with the highest honor given, a bronze star. While serving, he met his wife Florence. They were together 58 years until she passed away in 2004. When the war was over, he applied for a dry cleaning license and worked for 35 years until he retired. He enjoyed his retirement years with playing golf, traveling and watching his grandkids grow up.
Harry is survived by his son Harry Jr., and three daughters Rosalind Lee, Linda Lee, and Helen Shirakawa. His surviving grandchildren are Sherrolynn Lee, Michael Lee, David Lee, Jason Young, Peter Young, and Shauna Shirakawa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28th from 5-8pm at Green Hills Mortuary and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 11:00AM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
