Harry S. Leasure, Jr.

Harry, the son of Harry and Nellie Leasure was born May 21, 1921 in Hagerstown, Maryland and passed away peacefully on April 11, 2012 in Westminster, California. He was preceded in death by Mildred, the love of his life and wife of 50 years. Harry is survived by his two children, Judy Buttrick and Richard Leasure; three grandchildren, Kimberly Anderson, Karianne Vaez and Cassandra Leasure; two great-grandchildren, Amber Anderson and Ryder Vaez, other relatives and friends. Harry retired from the U.S. Navy after WWII as a Lt. Commander. After the war he joined Southern California Edison, received a Masters Degree in Nuclear Engineering from U.C.L.A. and retired from Edison after serving as Chief, Nuclear Construction Management. The interment for Mr. Leasure will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 20th at the interment site in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
