Gudrun Thangen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the age of 99 at her home with family by her side. She lived 70 Years in San Pedro where she met and married her husband Finn Thangen and raised her 3 children. Gudrun was active at the Norwegian Seaman’s Church and a Lifetime Member of the ILWU Auxilary #8. She is survived by her children Ingrid (husband Kjell), Astrid, Tedd. Grandchildren Eirin, Torfinn, Kai, Axel, 5 great grandchildren, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Harbor Terrace Assisted Living staff for 8 amazing years of love and care of our mother. Please join us in celebrating Gudruns life Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00am in the Historic Church at Green Hills.
