Grgo K. Fistonich

Our dear husband, father and grandfather, Grgo Fistonich, went home to the Lord on February 19, 2012. He was born to Toma and Katica Fistonic in Zastrazisce Otok Hvar Croatia on May 4, 1922. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed working in the LA Harbor as a longshoreman for many years. We will all miss his many stories of his life struggles and many accomplishments. He will be forever missed and leaves a legacy of love to his surviving wife, Antica; daughters, Katarina Weeden and Lidija (Danko) Bijelic; grandchildren, Linda (Mike) Ethridge, Melisa (Arnold) Lee, Adriana Weeden, Julian and Gregory Bijelic; 3 great-grandchildren, Katherine and Kendall Ethridge and Jasmine Lee; brother, Nikola (Marica) Fistonic; nephew Ivan Fistonic and family along with many family members and numerous friends in Croatia. Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Krupa Shah and Julie Bartok N.P. for their excellent and loving care. A viewing for Grgo Fistonich will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 5 - 9 pm in Green Hills Chapel with a Church Service being held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 10:30 am at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in San Pedro, California.
