Grace B. Lucero

Grace Lucero was born in the Philippines on April 27, 1956. She unexpectedly passed away on July 24, 2013 due to complications from a hemorrhagic stroke. She was one of 9 children born to Gladys and the late Adolf Brown. She is survived by her husband Godofredo Lucero and her daughter and two sons, as well as her four grandchildren in addition to her mother, sister, and brothers. She and her family immigrated to Los Angeles from the Philippines in March 1991. After she earned her RN license, she worked at multiple facilities before her career brought her to Providence Little Company of Mary, where she worked for over 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her four grandchildren. She loved her family: her husband, children, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and grandchildren; as well as her friends and her children's friends. She treated everyone with equal kindness, respect, and love. A selfless woman, she dedicated her life to helping people through her career, donating both her time and money to charities, and ensuring a better life for her family.
