Gloria Cecile Dumas

Gloria Cecile Dumas (92), of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020.
Gloria was born in Los Angeles on January 7, 1928 and was the daughter of Jesus (Joseph) Inzunza and Sophia Hargous (both of Sinaloa, Mexico). Gloria was married to Pierre Felix Dumas (deceased) for 62 years. Gloria has two brothers, Gilbert Inzunza (deceased) and Alex Inzunza. Gloria is survived by her children; Rene & Marquita Dumas, Gabrielle & Gary McFarland, Sophie & John Pearson and Robert & Maria Dumas. She was a grandmother to 10, and great-grandmother to 5.
Gloria was a graduate of Bishop Conaty High School, Our Lady of Loreto in Los Angeles in 1946.
From 1947 to 1948, Gloria attended Woodbury Business College (Majoring in Journalism), and worked at Eastman Kodak, Los Angeles (as an Office Administrator)
Gloria was active in the “Las Damitas” Girls Club in Los Angeles for over 9 years.
From 1950 to 1957, Gloria worked at the California Newspaper Publishers, and in 1957 was wed to Pierre F. Dumas.
Gloria was a passionate gardener, had traveled throughout Europe and was active in the San Pedro community as a member of The Assistance League and Little Sisters of the Poor. She was an active member in the Holy Trinity Parish for 47 years.
Gloria enjoyed her life with Pierre, family and friends. Gloria will be deeply missed although remembered forever in our hearts.
