Gloria F. Deering

Born June 28, 1922 in Reed Plantation, Maine, the long-time Rancho Palos Verdes resident passed away on April 25, 2018.
Gloria married her sweetheart, Hazen H. Deering in 1943. They were married for 53 years at the time of his death in 1997. They moved to California after World War Two. Gloria graduated salutatorian of her class at Wytopitlock High School of Maine in 1939.
Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Margo), Byran (Nadia) and Timothy, as well as eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
