Glicer C. Ballon

Glicer, the son of Alfredo and Soledad Ballon, was born on May 15, 1935 in Zambales, Philippines and passed away peacefully on January 12, 2012 in Bakersfield, California with his family by his side. Glicer is survived by Conchita, the love of his life and wife of 47 years. He is also survived by six siblings: Juliet Jaquias, Minda Gerona, Cora Natividad, Felix Ballon, Alfredo Ballon Jr., and Nick Ballon. Mr. Ballon has three children: Gladys (and husband Mario Perez), Connie (and husband Rob Losier) and Glenn Ballon, and five grandchildren: Ryan, Cynthia and Reina Yap, and Marissa and Noah Perez. The visitation for Mr. Ballon will be held on Wednesday, January 18th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary, with a Vigil on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 20th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philomena Church located at 21900 So. Main St., Carson, CA 90745. The interment will immediately follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
