George M. Whitmore

George M. Whitmore, the son of George and Clara Whitmore, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born on June 20, 1930 in California and had been a long time resident of Long Beach, where he was a Secondary Administrator in the school district for many years. George is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Whitmore; children, Anne (Mike) Ray and Kristen (Cary) Clevenger; 5 grandchildren and brother, Mayne Whitmore. He is preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Whitmore. Interment will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2pm at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
