George Valdez

George Valdez was born in Torrance, California on April 10, 1951 and passed away August 8, 2014. He was raised in San Pedro, but also spent many years in Woodlake, California. He loved the outdoors, gardening and fishing. Wherever he went he quickly made friends and didn't hesitate to help them whenever they needed something. George is preceded in death by his father, David R. Valdez and his brother, Federico "Lico" Valdez, and he is survived by his mother, Dolores H. Valdez, sister, Carmen Valdez Martinez, brother, Raul Valdez as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He will always be loved and missed for his smile, laughter, empathy for others and all the little things that made him "Georgie", "Fiad", "Jorge" and "Uncle George." A Memorial Service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11am 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, 90275.
