We regret to announce the passing of George Arce San Agustin, 88 years old. He passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 in Downey, California after suffering a stroke.
George Arce San Agustin was a Logistics driver, 20 years of experience with DAS (Distribution Auto Services) with Nissan. He was a respected member of his profession and known for his diverse knowledge of multiple languages, such as Tagalog, English and Spanish. He studied Law at Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, George Arce San Agustin was a devoted family man, who loved his wife and two children above all else. He was a beloved husband to Aida, and a devoted father to Arlene and Gerald. His humor made him a cherished and loyal friend to many.
In his free time, George Arce San Agustin enjoyed gardening, which brought him joy and relaxation. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, actively supporting and contributing.
George Arce San Agustin is survived by his two children Arlene and Gerald, grandchildren Sheila, Joshua, Melissa, Julia, Myla, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held at Green Hills Mortuary on October 22, 2024. Internment followed at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arlene Morales or Gerald San Agustin.
George Arce San Agustin will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
