George E. Lachapelle

November 30, 1935 — March 12, 2012

George Lachapelle, age 76, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012. Born in Quebec, Canada, George settled in California with his family in 1965.
He is preceded in death by parents, George and Marion and his wife, Wanda.
George is survived by his partner, Mae Lollis; children, Michael (Nancy) Lachapelle, Corinne (Greg) Mayo and Robert Lachapelle; 5 cherished grandchildren; sister, Helen Downs; nieces; nephews; and friends who will greatly miss his love and laughter in their lives.
Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012, 10:00 am at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 5975 Armaga Spring Road, Rancho Palos Verdes.
Graveside services to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
