(89), resident of Gardena. George Ichiro Kawanami passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He is predeceased by his wife Doreen, and is survived by his daughter Donna Peddicord (Dan), stepson Jim Schrader (Helen), sisters Hiroko Yamamoto (Jim), Chiyoko Wada, and Sadako Okada (John), grandsons Ric and Jeff Schrader, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday November 30, 2012 at 11am, at Green Hills Memorial Chapel; 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
