On March 5, 2023, our beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, godfather and uncle passed away. He was 53 years old.
George was born in San Pedro, CA on May 22,1969 to George Sr. and Maria “Lupe” Jimenez. He graduated from Carson High School. He retired as a Bus Operator for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority after 25 years of service. He also worked part-time as a Casual Longshoreman for Pacific Maritime.
George was known by many for his kind-hearted and loving soul. He had the most infectious smile and laugh, with the ability to enjoy even the smallest things in life. You would have never known that George has been fighting various illnesses for the last decade as his strength and fight always persevered.
George was a devoted family man; a protector, dependable husband, and a father who never missed an opportunity to support and glorify his children and grandchildren. He made a point to always capture life’s precious moments.
George was a brother and a mentor to more people than we could ever account for. He was a leader in the local lowrider car scene. George was referred to as the “OG,” as he helped shape the last 30 years of the USO Car Club, which has now grown to be worldwide. George was well respected by his USO’s and was always sought after for inspiration and guidance.
He was a man of faith and hope, and continuously put his trust in God’s plan. George’s presence will be missed immensely, however his legacy and imprint on us all will last forever.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
