George A. Bond

George Allen Bond passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 85. George is survived by his wife of 62 years Lois, his children George Jr. (Ella Hurley), Allen (Wendy Bond), Barbara (Clayton Moury), Kenneth (Lorri Mitchell-Bond), his grandchildren, Kenneth (Naomi), Elizabeth, Dustin, Amanda, Meredythe, Jenna, Bryan, Lauryn, Nathan, Melissa (Miguel), Matthew, Alexander, Colin, his great-grandchildren Ava and Nora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred, his daughter Sherrill, his grandchildren Addison, Blaize and Carlee Moury.

George was born in Philadelphia, PA where he lived until he entered the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed in Maryland. While in Maryland his met his wife Lois. Over the years George enjoyed tennis, biking and running. He was also an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers. This is something he passed onto all his children and was always happy to assist the novice gardener. George had a love for reading and expanding his knowledge on current events. George loved his family dearly and always enjoyed time spent with his loving wife, children and his many grandchildren.
