Geniva E. Hall

Geniva E. Hall was born on January 1, 1933, in Bocas Del Toro, Panama. Her parents were Alfred and Medora Spencer. She spent her formative years in Panama City.

Geniva met her husband Cyril S. Hall in Panama. They were married for 24 years, until Cyril's demise in 1979.

In 1968, Geniva migrated to the United States and lived in Brooklyn, New York until 1981. While living in Brooklyn, New York, she worked as a technician in a manufacturing company and also had her own baking business where she specialized in wedding and birthday cakes. In 1981, she moved to Los Angeles, California, and worked as a baker at Brooks College for 15 years.

Geniva went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2016. She is preceded by her brothers: Percival and Charles Spencer and sisters: Adassa Peck and Virginia Spencer.

She is survived by her son, Reinaldo F. Hall, daughter, Amarylles D. Hall, daughter-in-law, Denise Hall; grandchildren: Reinaldo P. Hall, Daryl S. Hall, Christopher M. Hall, Reina J. Hall, Tameika Cannon; great-grandchildren: Maleek Matheson, Autumn Hall, Ahmad Hall; brother, Felix Hall; many nieces, nephews and a host of devoted friends.
