Frank N. Vuoso

Frank N. Vuoso passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family just shy of his 90th Birthday. He was born in Wildwood, NJ on October 28, 1928. He was proud to serve his country for 5 years in the Army/Air Force during the Berlin Airlift. In 1953, soon after marrying the love of his life Barbara, they moved to San Pedro to start their new family. Frank worked for Safeway Stores for 38 years until he retired in 1986. He was preceded in death recently by his beloved son Michael.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Barbara; sons, Tom (Loretta), Pat (Leeann), Maria Tran; grandchildren, Andrew (Tiffany), Leslie (Marco), Nicole (Phil) and great-grandchildren Ethan, Olivia and a baby on the way. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends. A special Thank You to his devoted caregivers who took excellent care of Papa/Mr. Frank and Father Martin Benzoni for his visits. A rosary and funeral mass will be offered on Friday, October 12, 2018 10:00 AM at Mary Star of the Sea Church followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Mary Star High School Building Fund.
