Frank H. Pearson

Frank Henry Pearson, age 90, passed away October 16, 2012. He was born on December 17, 1921 in San Pedro to Dan and Ida Pearson and raised in San Pedro. He graduated San Pedro High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a Longshoreman (Local 13) then became a Foreman (Local 94) until he retired in 1993. He enjoyed traveling, watching old movies and reading books. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Ida Pearson, his loving wife of 61 years Margaret A (Rodin) Pearson and brother Edward Pearson. He is survived by his son Raymond Pearson, daughter Carol Ann (Tonko) Baran, Grandchildren Christina Baran, Anthony (Marie) Baran, Erica Pearson and Katie Pearson, Great-Grandchild Alexander Baran, Sister-in-Laws Mary Ann Peterson and Patsy Rodin, nephews and nieces and their families. Funeral Services will take place Thursday October 25th, 2012 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Ranch Palos Verdes, with graveside service following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to City of Hope.
