Frank Paul Villanueva

January 9, 1981 — October 25, 2014

Frank Paul Villanueva, a lifelong resident of San Pedro, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at the age of 33. He was born in San Pedro and attended Pt. Fermin Elementary School and Richard Henry Dana Middle School. Growing up fishing, the ocean became one of Frank's most joyous passions. He worked on the fishing boats out of San Pedro and San Diego Harbors. Fishing throughout most of his life, he created everlasting impressions with those he encountered. His personality was drawing and he touched the lives of many. He was a protector with a strong heart who cared deeply about those in his life. His laugh alone was contagious and he had an extraordinary way to capture your attention when telling a story. He was a Father who loved his son and enjoyed every moment he shared with him. Frank was a beloved Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, Cousin and Friend who will forever be missed and will always remain in our hearts. He is survived by his mother Lori Jamieson, Father Eddie Villanueva, Brothers Eddie and Paul Villanueva, Sisters Valarie, Adrienne and Julia Villanueva, Son Ryan Levi Villanueva, Grandmothers Margaret Villanueva and Elaine Copetillo, Nephew Travis Velez and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, 1:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be opened for his son Ryan. Please contact Lori Jamieson or the Villanueva family for information.
