Frank Louis Miladinovich

It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, and Papa. The memories of his beautiful smile and teasing wit will one day ease our hearts’ pain. Frank was born on April 7, 1951, in San Pedro and he passed away on August 14, 2022, in his family home. Frank loved and played baseball throughout his youth, extremely proud of his many accomplishments. Frank attended Dana Jr. High School and then moved to Wilmington where he graduated from Banning High School in 1969. Frank became a Longshoreman in 1972, the third generation of his family, which made him very proud. He retired in November of 2020 with 47 good years. He enjoyed his work but loved shooting the breeze with his buddies. Frank loved classic cars, searching for classic cars on the computer, antiques, every sport, good food, Lake Tahoe, Hot August Nights in Reno, and believe it or not flowers, Bird of Paradise being his favorite, but most of all, he loved his family. He met his sweetheart on November 4th, 1976, their first date being November 5th and the rest is history. They were blessed with three beautiful children and Papa’s best friends, his two grandbabies. Frank is preceded in death by his loving parents Frank Sam Miladinovich, 1971, and Pauline Ketchum, May 2022, which broke his heart. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julia Miladinovich, and his children, Shawn Miladinovich, Amber (Brent) Weber, and Jake Miladinovich. His grandchildren, Blaire Weber and Bryce Weber. His siblings, Laraine Rollins, Paulette Mixer, and Jon Ketchum. Services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11:30 am in Green Hills Memorial Chapel with a graveside service to follow.
