Francisca Razo was born October 4, 1935 in Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 24, 2021 at the age of 85. She was a resident of Torrance for 64 years. In August of 1954 she married the love of her life, Dionisio Razo. Francisca and Dionisio moved to California in 1957. They were married for 44 wonderful years.
Francisca enjoyed vacationing, cheering for the Dodgers and Lakers, watching soap operas and movies on Netflix and listening to her favorite Mexican music. She loved going to amusement parks, vacationing in Mexico, taking trips to Mammoth Lakes, Las Vegas and visiting Boca Raton, Florida. Some of her greatest memories were traveling around California and Arizona with her husband attending her grandchildren sporting events. One of her new found joys later in life was spoiling her dog Hemi; a Siberian husky that she loved and cared for. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. For special family gatherings she was always asked to bring her specialty dishes. Her greatest joy in life, however, was her loving family. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her four daughters, Leticia, Ellen, Alicia (Louie), and Marta (Peter), six grandsons (Justin, Brandon, Peter, Preston, Pearson and Paxton), three granddaughters (Brittaney, Briana and Yolanda), four great-grandchildren (Peter “JJ”, Jasmine, Isaac and Alyssa) and several nieces and nephews. Francisca is predeceased by her husband, Dionisio Razo, who passed away in 1998.
