Francis James Mcgann Jr.

Jim McGann, 88, passed away comfortably at home surrounded by family on March 29, 2024. He was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1935.

He served proudly in the United States Army from 1953-1956.

Jim ventured to California in 1961 where he married, raised a family and was a dedicated TWA employee for 39 years. This allowed him and his family to travel extensively throughout the world. In later years he was active traveling with friends, square dancing, swimming exercising at the YMCA and participating in his children's and grandchildren's activities and lives.

He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor (Lee), his daughters Colleen Austill and Shannon McGann, son-in-laws Tracy Austill and John Fox, grandchildren Ryan Austill, Karleigh Austill Cragun, Delaney Fox, Jorja Fox, Nicole Mcgann and Michael Fenton, extended family Nancy DeCaprio, George Ann Bower, Paula Tournay, Richard McGann and Art McGann.

He was preceded in death by his brother Neil McGann and his daughter Michelle 'Shelly' McGann.

A visitation/viewing will be held Friday April 5th 4-8p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Mortuary and Memorial Chapel 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
