Francis J Brown

Frank Joseph Brown passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 87 after a short illness. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and moved to Los Angeles, CA shortly after graduating from the University of North Dakota to start a career in the Aerospace industry. He resided in Rancho Palos Verdes for over 50 years. After his successful career as an aerospace engineer, he retired to a life of community service and family activities. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judith Ann Brown, his daughter Anne Elwell (Michael), his grandchildren Abigail and Kaitlyn Elwell. He is preceded in death by his son David Francis Brown, his brother Raymond Anthony Brown, and parents Frank William Brown and Anastasia Marie Brown of North Dakota. Frank made a positive impact on those who were lucky enough to have met him, including his extended family and many friends. A funeral mass will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Rancho Palos Verdes. Frank will be interned at Green Hills LA cemetery in Rancho Palos Verdes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association in his name.
