Frances Silva Contreras

Frances, the daughter of Camillo and Lazara Contreras, was born November 20, 1915 in Durango, Mexico and passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Carson, California. She was preceded in death by Jesus, the love of her life and husband of 50 years. Frances is survived by 11 of her children, Arailia, Alice, Virginia, Carmen, Lorenzo, Jessica, Maggie, Frank, Margaret, Joe, Maria and Jessie; her sister, Lupe; over 100 grandchildren; over 100 great and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2nd from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3rd at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lomita, CA. Interment will immediately follow the mass at Green Hills Memorial Park.
