Florence Simeoni

Florence Simeoni, also known to many as "Flossie," passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. Flossie was born February 21, 1929 in New Jersey. At the age of 14, she moved to California and has lived in San Pedro for the past 71 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore "Sam" Simeoni in 2011. Flossie is survived by her three sons, Mike (Marcia) Simeoni, Bruce (Shari) Simeoni and Sam (Sue) Simeoni along with brother-in-law, Eugene (Georgia) Simeoni. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Joey, Brian, Gabby, Matt and Jeff with one great-granddaughter, Ariel. Flossie's sisters, Carol (Rich) Radonich, Gladys Liepersberger and Janet (Rick) Hegyi along with her nephew, nieces, cousins and dear friends also survive her. Visitation will be held at Green Hills Mortuary, Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 3-8 PM. Chapel Services will be Monday, March 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM with entombment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
