Ferdinand Santos

On the morning of Thursday, October 25, 2018, Ferdinand Barin Santos, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 53. Ferdinand was born on November 30, 1964 in Manila, Philippines to Pedro and Fausta Santos. He was the eldest of three siblings – Rico, Pinky, and Eugene. He graduated from De La Salle University (Manila) in 1987 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He immigrated to the US in February 1993 and married Connie David in May 1993. Together they raised two children, Aaron and Alyna, and their family dog, Lacey, in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He worked at Lesco from 1996 to 2006, and at the Torrance Refinery from 2006 to 2018. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, his selfless generosity, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Ferdinand was preceded in death by his mother (2003) and his father (2018). He is survived by his wife, his two children, and his three siblings.
