Feliza M. Villanueva

February 21, 1926 — February 23, 2016

Feliza transitioned peacefully in the afternoon of February 23rd with family surrounding her with love. Feliza was beloved mother to Juan (Hope), Daniel and Yolanda (Rob) Bennett. She was loving grandmother to Julie (Paul) Villanueva Romano, Maren & Alec Bennett. She was the cherished great grandmother to Cole Romano. She was dear aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Feliza was the oldest sister to Cecelia, Genevieve, Philip and Fernando & a friend to many. Feliza was a strong and compassionate woman who worked hard. She was the proud owner / cook of San Pedro's The Globe Theater Cafe, El Tio Pepe Cafe and El Farolito Cafe. She also was the cook at Jack Kramer Tennis Club and Honeywell. Not only was she an exception cook, she had compassion for all. No one was ever denied a meal at her cafes. They would repay her whenever they could with whatever they could. Feliza was predeceased by husband Juan, Mother Maria, Sisters Irene, Esther and Mary Lou and brother Frederico. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She always put the needs of her "family" ahead of her own. Many fond memories will comfort her family and friends through their mourning. Services will be held at Green Hills Chapel Saturday, February 27th at 11am followed by interment.
