Felix Lino Munoz

On May 14th, 2023 our beloved dad, son, grandpa and brother peacefully passed after a short illness with his family by his side. Felix was born on September 23 1937 to Feliciano and Lupe Munoz who proceeded him in death along with his brother Carlos Munoz. He is survived by his sons Felix Jr, Daniel, Bobby and Mark (Vanessa) Popovich. Grand children Christina, Brandon Popovich, Stephanie Popovich, Rylie Munoz, Ryann Munoz and numerous cousins. Felix was born in Mojave California and shortly moved to San Pedro at a young age. He attend Bandini Elementary, Dana Jr high and San Pedro High School. In 1955, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Japan as well as Wyoming before being honorably discharged in 1959. Upon leaving, he worked for Bell Telephone Company and McDonald Douglas prior to retiring from Shell Oil Company in 1991 after 26 years. In retirement he loved country line dancing where he met many wonderful friends over the years some of whom he remained very close to up to his passing. Another favorite of his was having a simple breakfast or dinner with his sons and their mother. Felix was a very generous, thoughtful and kind person who lived life his way, taking it easy.
