Felicisima Antonio

October 26, 1933 — March 31, 2019

Felicisima Gabutan Antonio, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2019 at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance. She was born on October 26, 1933, as a twin to her sister Crispina Alonzo, in Manila, Philippines to Marcelina and Jose Antonio.

Felicisima or Felicing (known to many), migrated to the United States to join her family and start a new life in San Pedro, California. She worked as a nursing assistant for over 25 years. She had a passion in helping people while offering them care and love. Not only did she show this love and care for the patients she took care of, she also demonstrated this unconditional love to her family. Felicing did not have any kids, however she treated her nephews Noel, Coy and niece Maritess as her own children who she loved dearly.

Felicing enjoyed a simple life. She enjoyed many adventures with her sister and was a great help in preparing food for family gatherings. She really enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her cousins. Felicing spent her time relaxing by crocheting and watching endless episodes of I Love Lucy and game shows.

Felicing is survived by her sister Crispina Alonzo; sister-in-law Adelida Antonio; nephew Manuel Antonio (wife Jacqueline); niece Maria Alva (husband Michael); nephew Enrico Alonzo (wife Cynthia); great niece Melissa Contreras; great niece Antoinette Bristol (husband Cesare); great niece Noelynne Antonio and great-great nephew Brody Reign Bristol.

Friends, family and others whose lives Felicisima touched are invited to Green Hills Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca 90275 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday, April 11, 2019 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
