Eugene George Todd

The world lost a most loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend on May 31, 2017.
Eugene George Todd passed away at the age of 84 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 22, 1933. Gene grew up in Chicago where he met his wife, Barbara, in high school. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. Gene held a bachelors degree and a masters degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University. He served in the Foreign Service during the "Cold War". Gene and his family have resided in Rancho Palos Verdes for the last 49 years where he worked as a long-time employee of The Aerospace Corporation before he retired.
Gene is survived by his wife, Barbara Todd; his children, Doug Todd (and his wife Lynn), Debbie White (and her husband Barry) and Pam Shean (and her husband Scott); as well as eight grandchildren, Jake and Justin Todd, Heather, Haley and Graham White, Ryan, Lindsay and Megan Shean. We all love and miss you, Papa!
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 10:30am at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eugene George Todd may be made to The American Cancer Society.
