Eugene Byrd

Eugene Byrd, passed away at home in Los Alamitos, CA on March 26, 2017 at the age of 87. "Birdie" was born in Long Beach, CA and was a proud graduate of Mary Star of the Sea class of 1944 and of San Pedro High School class of 1947. He spent many years in the fishing industry with Ocean Fish Co. and with DiCarlo Bakery. He is his survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce, daughters, Lee Ann (Tom) Austin-Nass, Donna Marie (Mike) Mance, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 383 S.
