Esther Richardson Russell

Esther Richardson Russell, born November 5, 1919 in Avinger, Texas, resident of Hemet, California, took her place in Heaven November 15, 2012. Esther is survived by her daughters: Sandra Farris, Janice Lomen, Mary Barta, Darlene McKeen and Brenda Smith, Grandsons: Dennis Farris, Kevin Farris, Brian Urspringer, David Lomen, Brad Lomen, Anthony Barta, Jordan Smith and Adam Smith, Six great grandchildren and one great-great grand daughter.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband, William Lonnie Russell; Grandsons, William Roland Farris and Christopher Barta.

Esther was a strong woman, generous and loving, who taught her daughters to be strong, independent women. She lived 93 years and saw amazing changes in the world and adapted easily to those changes. Her grandsons called her "Foxy Grandma", because she was always in fashion.

Above all she cherished "her girls". Esther will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a Memorial Service for Esther at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel November 23, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
