Esperanza Gamba

On the afternoon of August 30, 2020 Esperanza Gamba passed away in Torrance, CA surrounded by her family. She was born in Bogota, Colombia on October 30, 1950. She immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts in 1970 with her husband Camilo Gamba. In January of 2020 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Both Camilo and Esperanza were inseparable. In 1980, they drove across the country with their two girls to Torrance, CA. In 2003 Esperanza was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer, and continued to fight her illness until it finally took her life. Esperanza was a warm, vibrant and fun loving person. She loved hosting parties and having family gatherings. Esperanza enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Esperanza is survived by her husband Camilo Gamba, and her two daughters, Sandy Gamba and Adriana Felix. Esperanza was a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren, Isabella Manzanares, Zachary Manzanares, Addison Felix and Michael Felix II. Also by her mother, Adela Mosquera and her brothers and sisters.
