A very gifted and special man has left a large and loving family and countless friends. Ernesto was born in Durango, Durango, Mexico on July 13th, 1942. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; Enrigue Morales Ayala and Rosa Maria Gutierrez de Morales. He is survived by his loving wife Rosario Espinoza Morales and ex-wife Maxine Morales Crownover; his children Ernesto R. Morales, Jr., Kristine Morales Cardona, Alexandra L. Morales, Michael A. Morales; stepchildren Brenda A. Gonzales, Leroy Chacon (deceased) and Paola Espinoza; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Ernesto was born the 5th child into a large family of 10 children, two of which have preceded him in death. He spent his youth growing up in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, came to the United States and became a U.S. citizen, residing in San Pedro until his passing. He owned and operated San Pedro Upholstery for 35 years. He treasured his dog Fred, birds, antiques and his various collectibles. He enjoyed visiting local casinos, listening to Andrea Bocelli and tending to his garden. Above all else, he was most happy when he was surrounded by his family, enjoying a barbecue. Ernesto formed many lasting friendships and was loved and respected by many. He had the ability to make anyone laugh with a feisty sense of humor. All services in his honor will be conducted at Green Hills Cemetery located at 27501 Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, 90275. The rosary will be held on Monday, June 29th at 7p.m. and the funeral mass celebrated Tuesday, June 30th at 11a.m.
