Eric Donavon Nelson

Eric D. Nelson, age 51 was lifted to heaven on Oct 28, 2018. As a San Pedro resident and an ILWU worker many who had the pleasure of crossing his path loved him. He had a special love for the grill, high surf, fishing, interior/exterior home design and beautiful gardens that was all self-taught. He was a man with many talents, his laughter was contagious, his wisdom not forgotten, and his handsome face will forever be talked about. Eric was survived by his mother Patti Stanger (Nuno), brother Ryan, sisters Kristen and Hannah, sons Eric, Tye, Matthew and Nicholas, stepdaughter Marissa, 4 nephews, 3 nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins and was preceded in death by his father Charles Nelson. Family, friends, and others whose lives Eric touched are invited to Green Hills Mortuary, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 at 2pm on Thursday Nov 8, 2018, to lay him to rest and celebrate his journey back home to our heavenly father. The family asks that all attendees preferably wear all white or light clothing.
