Epifania R Lagahino

January 16, 1939 — August 27, 2023

Our family sadly lost an angel on August 27, 2023. Epifania Rabadon Lagahino, also known as "Mama Fannie", age 84, passed away from natural causes at Los Palos Post-Acute Care Center in San Pedro, California. Hours before passing, she expressed to her nurses how happy she was and how grateful she was of their care; she passed with a smile on her face.

Mama was born on January 16, 1939, in Ginatilan, Philippines to Pascuala Jamito and Edwardo Rabadon. She was one of six children. Mama is survived by her 2 children (Desiderio Ylaya and Leonora Ylaya dela Victoria), 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many others.

Mama was known to be the kindest, most selfless woman, constantly spreading love and the word of God. Mama lived a very simple life and her interests followed suit: she enjoyed going to church, spending time with family, playing solitaire, and very much enjoyed playing slots at the casino.

We invite family and friends to join us for Mama Fannie's Celebration of Life gathering from 4:30pm-8:30pm on Friday, September 15, at Green Hills Mortuary & Memorial Chapel located at 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and Rosary will be held at 6pm.
