Enriqueta Salas

Ricky (Enriqueta) Salas passed away July 23, 2022 at the age of 92 with family at her bedside. She lived comfortably for the last year with her granddaughter Tina, her grandson-in-law Dave and great grandchildren Davey and Lauren.

She was born March 1, 1930, one of eight children to Jesus and Lugarda Ochoa. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmington, California. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Peter Salas, and sons, John and David.

Ricky was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great-grandma. She had many hobbies including sewing, travelling with the local senior citizen community, frequenting local casinos, baking, reading mystery novels, playing cards, and watching her favorite baseball team, the Dodgers.

She is survived by her son Steve, daughter, Susan, grandchildren Tina, John, Matthew, Stevi-Danielle, Francesca, Monique, Bianca, niece Varinka, nephew Jorge, great grandchildren Davey, Lauren, Gabriel, Danny, Sierra, Johnny, Juliana, Edward, Aubrey, Vanessa, great nephews Ethan, Ryan, great nieces Alicia and Valeria, sisters Elisa, Nena and numerous other loving relatives.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to family, friends and everyone who has reached out and provided comfort and support during this difficult time.

Ricky Salas will be missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
