Elvira "Vera" Wallace

Elvira (Vera) Wallace, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, was a long time San Pedro resident who was born in Silver City, New Mexico on April 4, 1912. She passed away peacefully in the company of her family on April 21, 2014 in San Pedro. She is fondly remembered as the wife of pharmacist, Armando Wallace, with whom she worked in their Santa Anita Pharmacy on 1st and Pacific Avenue in San Pedro for over 40 years. She was an active member of our community, always volunteering at the various schools that her daughter attended, as well as a member of the Salvation Army.
Elvira is survived by her only daughter, Alessandra Wallace-Ferrandino, her grandchildren, Cassandra Margarita and Rodolfo Armando Hernandez, along with her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
To Her Most Loved Ones, may we continue to always remember her everlasting saying when asked how she was doing, "I Feel Like A Million Dollars!" ~ Elvira Wallace
