Elvira has passed into the arms of Our Savior The Lord Jesus Christ. Elvira was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and passed away peacefully in her home in San Pedro, California. She spent 55 years as a San Pedro resident with many ties to the community. In her lifetime, she worked as a hairstylist, an accountant and a canary worker for Sunkist Foods. Preceded in death by her loving parents: Aurello Garcia and Simona Esperanza. She is survived by her sons: Jose Antoino, Miguel Angel and Luis Romy Elliot; grandchildren: Luis Michael, Jeanine Renee and Joseph Martin Elliot, Christine Nichole Edgington, Anna Maria Bardales, Marisa Paulina Elliot, Isabella Rose Elliot and Logan Beckett; great-grandchildren: Desiree, Michael, Sammie, Ilene, Fernando Jr. and Angelina; siblings: Ofelia and Salvador Garcia, and former husband Romeo Elliot. She took joy in being in the presence of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as some of her greatest pleasures were time spent with family. Her family is saddened by her passing, but takes great comfort in knowing that she is cradled lovingly in the arms of The Lord. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 11th from 2:00-5:00P.M. to be held at Green Hills Memorial Park. A Memorial Service and burial will follow on Monday, December 12th at 9:00A.M. at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
